In both grades, girls performed better than boys. In Class 12, girls passed with a pass percentage of 91.52 per cent compared to boys’ 85.12 per cent, and in Class 10, girls passed with a pass rate of 94.75 per cent compared to boys’ 92.71 per cent. The trend of girls performing better extends beyond the country’s overall pass rates. In regions such as Noida and Ghaziabad, females consistently outperformed boys in CBSE board examinations, as seen by the huge gap in pass percentages among class 12 students over the years.

To calculate the pass percentage, add the marks you have secured in all 5 subjects. Divide the total marks by 500 and then multiply by 100 to get the pass percentage.

During the declaration of class 12 board exam results on May 13, CBSE also shared a press release. It mentioned that the examination for the next academic year (2024-25) will begin on February 15, 2025 for both classes 10 and 12. Nevertheless, later in the academic year 2024–2025, the board will release the comprehensive test schedule, or CBSE Date Sheet for 2025.

Rishu Kumar became the topper of Deoghar, Jharkhand. Local18 reported that he has achieved a score of 98.8 per cent in his 10th CBSE board examination and secured the first position in the Deoghar district. Naturally, the family is in a state of immense happiness, as well as Rishu’s school. Rishu Kumar completed his education at the Ramakrishna Mission School, Deoghar, where he lived in a hostel, he told Local18. He spent most of his time studying at the hostel. According to him, he set a personal goal and devoted 6 to 7 hours to complete that task. He stayed away from social media and focussed on what was important to him.

As the CBSE Class 10 Board Results were announced, a total of 11,253 students scored full marks in the mathematics standard subject. Apart from that, around 6,700 and 6,269 students scored a perfect 100 in subjects like Sanskrit and artificial intelligence, respectively.

Indore’s Khushi Mishra scored 98.8 per cent marks in her 10th class board examination. Besides studying, Khushi also has a passion for writing poetry. Talking about her studies, she said that she maintained a routine to equally focus on all the subjects. She mentioned that she used to study for at least 3-4 hours daily. She also said that she used to solve NCERT sample papers to make her preparations better.

Diksha of Sagar Public School, Bhopal, is a CBSE class 12 topper. Diksha has secured the highest marks in science. She scored 98.4 per cent. Diksha has also become the topper of Bhopal by getting the highest marks.

Ashmi Rai of Delhi Public School has done wonders in commerce. She is the topper of Bhopal in 12th commerce. Ashmi has made the family proud by securing 97.40 per cent.

Navya, a student of St. Joseph’s Co-Ed School, Bhopal, located in Arera Colony, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. She has scored 96.4 per cent in the humanities. After the results were out, the whole family of Navya was proud of her success.

Kavika Sharma, a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bhopal, has secured 96.2 per cent marks in 12th. She is from the Arts stream. Kavika is the Bhopal topper in her department. As per reports, she was brilliant in her studies from the beginning. Before exams, Kavika used to study for 5 to 6 hours daily, and now she has achieved this success.

Shweta Kumari, a resident of Ranchi, Jharkhand, has become the district topper in the arts stream by securing 98.4 per cent marks in board exams. Upon the announcement of class 12 results, Shweta Kumari spoke to Local 18 and expressed that the result was no less than a surprise to her. She worked hard continuously, but she never thought that she would top the district. She further dedicated her success to her parents and teachers, who helped her in whatever way possible.

Deepshikha hails from DAV Public School Sec 4 Bokaro and talked about this in an interaction with Local18 Jharkhand. Deepshikha said that self-studying is important for all students. Deepshikha has scored 100 marks in Political Science, 98 in Geography, 99 in Economics, 95 in Hindi, 95 in English and 100 in Painting.

As per the official schedule, the CBSE supplementary exams will be held from July 15. The process for verification of the marks for class 12 is from May 17 to 21 and for class 10, it is from May 20 to 24. Students have to pay Rs 500 per subject for verification of marks as well as for obtaining photocopies of evaluated marksheets. The re-evaluation fee per subject is Rs 100.

The CBSE works with a 9-point grading system (from A1 to E) depending on the numbers scored by each candidate. A1 is the highest grade achievable while grade E will be given to the students who fail the exam. The top 1/8th passed candidates will be awarded Grade A1, similarly the next 1/8th grade A2. Grades B1 and B2 will be awarded to the subsequent 1/8th passed candidates. Just like that, C1-C2-D1-D2 grades will be given to the following 1/8th passed candidates. Grade E will be given to those who fail the exam.

To pass the exam, the candidates need to score a minimum of 33 marks out of 100 in each subject. In the subjects involving both practical and theory then the candidates need to achieve 33 percent marks in both separately to successfully clear the exam. For Maths, Science, Social Science, and English theory exams, the students need to score 27 marks out of 80. However, for the Practical exams, all the candidates must score at least 6 marks out of 20 to clear the examination.

If students are not satisfied with their answer sheets, they can request for re-evaluation. They can also request for the photocopy or scanned copy of their marksheets.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results of Class 10 exams today May 13. Students can check their results on the official CBSE website, cbse.nic.in and results.cbse.nic.in. To access the mark sheet, students need to provide login details including their roll number, school number and date of birth. Guwahati with 77.94% is the least performing district and Noida with 90.46%. Bhopal has secured 90.58%.

Trivandrum has also performed best in the class 10 results 2024. 99.75% have passed in CBSE 10th from Trivandrum followed by 99.60% from Vijaywada and Chennai with 99.30%.

Students will have to enter their roll number, and school code to check their results. This information is available on the admit cards of the students.
